Public Assistance Requested to Locate Missing Man

This missing person has sadly been located deceased. The Delta Police Department expresses condolences to friends and family. The below nes release has been edited to remove images and identifying information.

On December 4th, 2024, at 6:20pm, a car was left abandoned in the southbound lanes of Alex Fraser Bridge. The driver of the car has not been located, and no witnesses to the car being left on the bridge have been identified. While driving conditions at the time included fog, with rush hour traffic volume, police believe there are witnesses to the vehicle abandonment.
The driver of the car was believed to be a 46-year-old Surrey man by the name of (name removed). Checks with his family determined he was last seen at the family residence earlier that afternoon. Family and police are concerned for his well-being.
(Name removed) is described as 5’11” tall, weighing 230 lbs, with short black hair, short black beard, black rimmed glasses, possibly wearing a black toque, black winter jacket without hood, and pajama pants. He has a tattoo on the back of his right hand. See the attached photo for an image of (image removed).
The abandoned car is described as a grey 2023 Volkswagen Taos.
