Tsawwassen First Nation Service Team
The Tsawwassen First Nation Service Team (TFNST) is a uniformed team comprised of four constables led by of one Sergeant. Their focus is to provide TFN policing services which are respectful and culturally sensitive. The TFNST is responsible for responding to calls for service and crime prevention on TFN Lands and building relationships with TFN community members, staff and other partners.
The Delta Police Department have a dedicated community-based Liaison Officer for the Tsawwassen First Nation (TFN). The officer, embedded in the TFN Health and Social Services Team, is responsible for connecting with the members of the community and building relationships through various social and recreational programs. The Liaison Officer is also a part of the Justice Team and works closely with a dedicated BC Probation Officer, dedicated Crown Counsel and with a TFN Empowerment Worker.
The TFNST and Liaison Officer are committed to helping build a healthy and safe community through partnerships, relationship building and responsible enforcement.
