Update – Missing woman, found deceased

Police are confirming that missing woman (Name Removed), has been located, deceased. She had embarked on a crabbing/clam digging excursion on June 14, 2021 in the Centennial Beach area.

She was located June 29, 2021, in the area of Boundary Bay, and her family has now been notified. Police do not suspect foul play.

“Our sympathies are with (Name Removed)'s family and loved ones, and we hope this news can help bring them some closure,” says Cris Leykauf, spokesperson for Delta Police.

Victim Services has been offered to the family. Delta Police wish to thank all those who assisted in the search for (Name Removed).
