Police on Scene - Serious Assault

Delta, BC – The Delta Police are currently on the scene of a serious assault at a home in the 8000 block of 117^th Street in North Delta.  One person has been transported to hospital with serious injuries.  One male has been arrested.

117^th Street is closed between 80^th Avenue and 80A Avenue.  Investigators will be on scene for the next several hours.

Investigators have confirmed this is not a random attack and there is no public safety risk.
