Ontario Man Arrested for Trafficking Drugs and Possession For Purpose of Trafficking
Delta, BC – A Delta Police Officer observed what he believed to be a drug transaction and started an investigation. As a result, an Ontario man was arrested, and a quantity of cash, cell phones, drugs and weapons were seized.
On March 26th, 2025, an officer watched a drug transaction occur at the driver’s door of a car, illegally parked in the 5200 block of 8A Ave, Tsawwassen. The officer conducted a vehicle stop and observed multiple additional indicators that the driver was trafficking controlled drugs. The driver was arrested. A search of the car and the driver located a large amount of suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, cash, weapons, jerry cans of gasoline, and a balaclava.
A 20-year-old Ontario man has been released on an Undertaking while the investigation continues. A report to Crown Counsel will follow, recommending charges of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
