Man Arrested for Multiple Thefts From Cars in Ladner
Delta, BC – Thanks to calls from the public, a 37-year-old man of no fixed address has been arrested for multiple thefts in Ladner. Some stolen property has been recovered while other stolen items remain outstanding.
On April 7th, the Delta Police were notified of a suspicious male in Ladner. Officers spoke with the male and could not determine an offence. Later, officers determined that same male was responsible for several thefts from cars around the 5500 block of 49th Avenue and also the 5300 block of Crescent Drive.
Officers relocated the male and arrested him for theft and possession of stolen property. At the time of the arrest, items were recovered that were believed to be stolen but not yet reported. Additionally, several stolen items remain outstanding.
Officers believe unreported thefts have occurred in this area and victims have not come forward. It is possible officers have already recovered your stolen property and would like to return it to you.
Officers are also looking to recover stolen Milwaukee brand tools.

The suspect is described as a 6’1” tall male weighing approximately 170 pounds, with shoulder length brown hair and a partial beard. The man was released on an Undertaking to appear in court at a later date.
