DPD Celebrating New Police Academy Graduates

Friday, Jul 8, 2022
News Release

The Delta Police Department (DPD) is celebrating the graduation of nine police officers from Class 166 at the Justice Institute of British Columbia (JIBC) on Friday, July 8, 2022. After over ten months of training, the nine police officers will be assigned to patrol and begin working immediately to assist with the busy summer months.

“The DPD continues to attract a diverse pool of highly talented and skilled individuals committed to the safety and wellbeing of our community,” stated Chief Dubord. “I not only want to congratulate the newly certified police officers, but my compliments go out to the recruiting team and the trainers who have worked tirelessly to ensure the DPD has police officers dedicated to Community First Policing.”

Congratulations to the new Delta officers, as well as to all their classmates from Class 166.
