Delta, BC – Delta Police safely resolved a barricaded person incident in North Delta on Friday afternoon.

On September 11th, 2026 at 2:25 pm, Delta Police officers were dispatched to the 7000 block of Nicholson Road to check on the well-being of an individual. As the situation evolved, the individual barricaded themselves inside the residence. At approximately 5:00 pm, the individual was safely taken into police custody. There is no ongoing risk to the public.

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident remains ongoing.
