Body-Worn Cameras (BWC)
BWCs are small video and audio recording devices worn on an officer’s uniform. They are one of several tools used by DPD to support effective policing, accountability and public confidence, in accordance with privacy legislation, provincial policing standards and departmental policy.
Drone Program
The Delta Police Department (DPD) was one of the first police departments in British Columbia to operationalize a drone program in Patrol and has continued to expand its use of drone technology to support police operations and public safety.
Public Safety Cameras (PSC)
Public Safety Cameras (PSC) are mobile, deployable safety units used by the Delta Police Department to support community safety and help deter and respond to criminal activity in identified areas of concern.
