
Professional Standards Section (PSS)
The Professional Standards Section (PSS) is an independent section within the Delta Police Department reporting directly to the Chief Constable. PSS is responsible for conducting investigations regarding allegations of police misconduct. Professional Standards investigators are senior members of the police department with significant investigative experience.
The goal of the Delta Police Department PSS is to conduct thorough, objective, and fair investigations into allegations of police misconduct.
Should you wish to make a registered complaint or have a question or concern, the Delta Police can assist you in a variety of ways. If you require assistance, you may contact an on-duty member of the Professional Standards Section during business hours Monday through Friday. Secondarily, for 24 hour – seven day a week assistance in lodging a complaint, question or concern, you can contact the on-duty patrol Staff Sergeant at 604-946-4411.
