- Canadian Centre for Child Protection: Mobile Safety
The goal of this site is to educate parents/guardians about the potential risks posed to children/adolescents using mobile phones and to highlight proactive strategies that can be used to help keep children/adolescents safe. In addition to risks and safety strategies, the site includes information related to the advantages and benefits to mobile phones, points to consider when choosing a mobile phone for your child and downloadable resource information, including Mobile Safety: A guide for parents/guardians.
- TextEd.ca - Source for teens about safe, respectful texting practices. Get the 411 on texting and relationships, including healthy vs. unhealthy relationships, how to deal with harassment and how to cope with stress. Through a variety of games and activities test your texting knowledge, find out how to use this great technology safely and learn what to do when someone crosses the line.
- Cybertip.ca - Canada's national tipline for reporting the online sexual exploitation of children.
The door that's not locked - The Canadian Centre for Child Protection has provided a website which is a 'one-stop shop' for adults interested in learning about ways to keep kids safe on the Internet.
