Delta Police are reminding home owners to keep their doors and windows secured, and to be vigilant, after a recent overnight break and enter in Tsawwassen.

On Saturday July 29th at approximately 10:25pm, an unknown male entered a home in the 4900 block of 3rd avenue in Tsawwassen. The suspect was confronted by the homeowner in an upstairs bedroom. The suspect then went downstairs and fled not long after.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, 6 feet tall, medium to heavy build, wearing a hat, dark pants and a dark hoodie.

Nothing appears to have been stolen from the home.

Delta Police continue to investigate and are actively canvassing neighbours in the area. Anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area around the time of the break and enter is asked to call Delta Police. Police are reminding the public to always report any suspicious activity.

This reminder to keep doors and windows secured comes despite the increasing temperatures expected this week.
