Fentanyl Facts

In response to the growing concern around fentanyl and the recent overdoses in Delta and around the Metro Vancouver, Delta Police cohosted two Fentanyl Forums with the Corporation of Delta, the Delta School District, and Fraser Health.  Speakers discussed a range of fentanyl topics including what fentanyl is, why it’s dangerous, how prevalent it is and how it can impact even casual users and their families.

For those who would like more information, further follow up, or if you were unable to make it to either forum, we have compiled a list of resources and posted the presentations on this page.

There was extensive engagement at the forums through text and tweets. Due to the volume of questions it may be a couple of weeks before we can compile all of the answers.

If you or someone you know is struggling with a drug addition, call Deltassist at 604.594.3455 or 604.946.9526

If this is an emergency, call 911.

Opening remarks by Major Lois E. Jackson
