Process for Canadian Police Officers in British Columbia
- Complete your Application and Integrity and Lifestyle Questionnaire.
- If your package is approved, you will be invited to a comprehensive interview with the recruiting team.
- If successful, you will have a peer panel interview with supervisors from the Human Resources Section, who will determine if you move forward in the process, which includes psychological, medical and polygraph testing.
- The Recruiting Section will request permission to contact your references and ask that you provide a minimum of two letters of endorsement from current and past supervisors. You will need to provide written documentation supporting your police experience.
- A background investigation is conducted with 20 references.
- Final Interview with the Senior Management Team
Process for Experienced Canadian Police Officers Outside BC
Our Recruiting Unit makes every effort to reduce the amount of travel for our applicants, but please expect to make at least two trips to Delta.
- Contact a recruiter and then submit a detailed resume and cover letter to the Recruiting Section.
